What the selection process involves
Complete and submit the Sydney Leadership 2012 Application Form and the Sydney Leadership 2012 Questionnaire as soon as possible and return both documents by post or email to the address on the forms. (Remember to save the completed forms before submitting them)
An interview time will be arranged with you. The interview is challenging and different from traditional formats. Offers will be made for a place on Sydney Leadership 2012 after the completion of the interview process. If you are accepted into the program we will make further arrangements for program preparation.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 2 November 2011.
Selection criteria
Sydney Leadership is for people who are prepared to challenge themselves and to be changed by their experience. Commitment is a key factor in selection—the desire and determination to commit to the program, to your own learning and development, to other participants’, to innovation, to making a difference and to the broader community.
Selection for Sydney Leadership is competitive and places will be offered to up to 35 participants.
You will be assessed on:
- your experience in demonstrating authority, either formally or informally
- your ability to be reflective about your own practice and to work with feedback
- your capacity to articulate how you think you could impact true change
- your readiness to put your plans, thoughts and feelings into action and
- your openness to personal growth and change.
