Apply for Queensland Leadership 2012-2013
Selection Criteria

Queensland Leadership is for people who are prepared to challenge themselves and to be changed by their experience. Commitment is a key factor in selection – the desire and determination to commit to the program, to your own learning and the development of other participants, to innovation and to making a difference to the broader community.

Selection for Queensland Leadership is competitive and places will be offered to up to 35 participants. You will be assessed on:

  • your experience in demonstrating authority, either formally or informally
  • your ability to be reflective about your own practice and to work with feedback
  • your capacity to articulate how you think you could impact true change
  • your readiness to put your plans, thoughts and feelings into action and
  • your openness to personal growth and change.

What the selection process involves

Step 1

Download and complete the Queensland Leadership 2012 - 2013 Application Form.

Forms must be returned to:

Applications close Monday 9 July 2012

Step 2

Selected applicants will be emailed a questionnaire to complete and an interview time will be arranged. Offers will be made for a place on Queensland Leadership 2012 - 2013 after the completion of the interview process. Once applicants are accepted into the program SLA will make further arrangements for program preparation.
