Adaptive Leadership Intensive

Social Leadership Australia's Adaptive Leadership Intensive is a 4-day residential program that offers participants a unique opportunity to explore what it means to exercise effective leadership in challenging environments.

This program is designed for people from the business, community and government sectors who are interested in developing their leadership skills so they can be more effective change agents, in the community, within their organisation, or both.

Social Leadership Australia has been working with the renowned Adaptive Leadership approach—which was developed by Ron Heifetz and his colleagues at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government—at the heart of all its programs since 2002. We take this powerful model to a new level by integrating it within the social leadership model and focusing it on making progress for all of society.

The program is highly interactive and includes a mixture of theory, reflection, practice and community engagement. Participants will also be encouraged to undertake reflection on personal values, perceptions and attitudes and to explore group dynamics.

Cost

The cost of this 4-day residential program is $3,800 + GST per person.

The program is run on a cost-recovery basis and the fee includes all accommodation, meals and all course materials. Participants are required to organise their own travel to the venue (Social Leadership Australia is able to assist in coordinating car-pooling).

A limited number of partial scholarships will be available for applicants from the non-profit sector.
