Meet the 2011-2012 QLD Leadership Program participants
The list of 22 talented and committed leaders selected for this year's program includes representatives from organisations as diverse as Lend Lease; Westpac; Queensland Police Service; Family Planning Queensland; and Queensland Health just to name a few.
The group will spend the year working together to learn what it means to exercise leadership that delivers real progress on complex and entrenched social problems.
Graduates will join the SLA Alumni, a growing network of individuals with the capacity, skills and determination to create lasting social change, wherever they may be operating in the world.
The 2011-2012 Queensland Leadership program is sponsored by the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation as Principal Partner. The Foundation has provided funding to enable a number of leaders from rural and remote areas in Queensland to participate in the 2011-2012 Queensland Leadership program, and to assist with a fly-in retreat for all participants at a rural or remote Queensland location.
The 2011-2012 Queensland Leadership program is supported by eighteen employer organisations and five scholarship providers, Australian Scholarships Foundation, Origin Foundation, Queensland Government, Suncorp and the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation.
