With a combination of consulting and teaching Social Leadership Australia brings the leadership learning in-house, working ‘hands-on’ with your specific challenge and ‘hand-in-hand’ with the people responsible for solving it.

It’s an approach that brings our leadership and change expertise to bear on your particular circumstances, and develops your capability to identify, understand and make progress on your own organisational challenges in situ.

Who is this for?

Organisations facing a business-critical issue that, if it can be progressed, will not only assist the organisation but have a positive social and systemic impact. This could be in areas as diverse as energy, environment, development, infrastructure, finance, health, education, food security and justice, as well as social inclusion and wellbeing.

How does it work?

Social Leadership Australia’s applied consulting includes a guided mix of teaching, consulting, group work and coaching which helps the organisation or community to more deeply understand the ‘landscape’ around the defined challenge or opportunity, grasp the dynamics at play, and develop the skills required to make progress.

A longitudinal approach provides support in real time, as it is needed, and builds required capability to tackle entrenched and complex challenges. The engagement would usually include:

1. A two day intensive program with the leadership or change team to introduce the core social leadership models, language and processes.
2. A monthly group coaching session, working with ‘live’ issues.
