National Close the Gap Day is coming up. Show your support by signing the pledge, attending a local event or even hosting your own. Details and registration are available at the Oxfam website here: http://www.oxfam.org.au/act/events/close-the-gap-day

The focus for this year is on genuine partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which is the only way that progress will be made toward the goals. The campaign itself is led by peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health bodies, in partnership with leading non-indigenous organisations. (And of course there are several SLA alumni involved...)
